Providing Dial Tone is a memoir of my life starting at age 10. Raised in a small town in Arizona, my father was a surveyor and had his own business. I learned the craft, and it became my career early on. Then I transitioned to designing telephone facilities as an Outside Plant Engineer. This career path took me to work locations across the United States, where I encountered a wide range of situations and met many people.
